i don’t think Rick Perry was specifically trying to bash gays serving openly in the military, i think he was bashing the fact that secularism is dominating america and that there’s no real religious tolerance anymore. 

you guys gotta read more than just what’s on the surface. jeez.

“No religious tolerance.” I’m a Catholic, but what the fuck?

Of course kids can pray in school. Not in an organized fashion, but there are public schools that allow a few minutes of quiet meditation/reflection that can be used for prayer. Also, what exactly is the big point (aside from when you’re in church) of making sure everyone knows you’re praying? Jesus said that this is what the hypocrites do. They pray for attention so everyone know they’re a good person, not for the actual sake of praying.

Also, I’m pretty sure we can all celebrate Christmas if we want…

He has a very obvious anti-gay agenda, if you haven’t seen it through his legislation. Not only are his beliefs intolerant, but they make no sense. No one’s forcing HIM to stop openly being a Christian. 

It’s only one nation under God if you think it is. I’m sorry, but freedom of religion also means freedom to not be a Christian. I’m sorry Rick Perry doesn’t get it.
